Product Description

50mm F/1.0 Fast Aperture Lens

Combining this thermal sensor with the focusable 50mm F/1.0 fast aperture objective lens allows the scope to offer astounding detection capabilities — detecting a standard 1.8m tall object at up to 1800m in daylight or complete darkness, all with a detailed, high contrast image, even in rain or foggy conditions. The 12.4°x9.3° field of view opens up the observation area even further, allowing for greater control when it comes to spotting objects otherwise previously undetected.

Variable Magnification

The base magnification increases four times at 2x – 16x, with a zoom which can change either gradually by 2x steps, or continuously, allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation.

HD AMOLED Display

The Thermion 2 XP50 Pro features a high definition 1024×768 HD AMOLED display with enhanced colour rendering and a high contrast image to provide a clear and smooth picture whilst on-the-move. Coupling this with the wide-angle 29.5° eyepiece, -3/+5 dioptre adjustment, 50mm eye relief, and 5m minimum focus enhances the viewing experience even further, ensuring the user experiences little to no fatigue when using the scope and offering comfortable image perception with no keyhole effect and no eye strain.

Picture in Picture (PiP) Mode

Picture in Picture mode uses 10% of the AMOLED display to allow the user to observe an HD zeroing frame in the top centre of the viewfinder. This mode will display a magnified image of the target and reticle, whilst simultaneously retaining visual control over the entire field of view.

Eight Colour Palettes

The Thermion 2 XP50 Pro offers a choice of eight colour palettes to achieve a more effective observation of the field of view, optimising the scope for specific tasks and allowing it to react to changing observation conditions.

For object detection, White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are most effective; Rainbow and Ultramarine is best for object recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for long observation periods in darkness.

5 Shooting Profiles

5 shooting profiles for a multitude of weapon or cartridge types are available with the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro. Each profile can hold up to 10 zeroing distances and offer up to 50 zeroing distances overall. Furthermore, a selection of 10 electronic reticle configurations is available in 9 colour modes. These electronic reticles are displayed in the same plane as the target.

10 Hours Battery Life

The hunt needn’t stop with the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro, which operates for up to 10 hours on a single charge, with two rechargeable batteries provided (one built-in at 4.9 Ah capacity and one replaceable at 2 Ah capacity). Quick replacement of the second battery is made possible thanks to the embossment on the body, making swapping the batteries by touch nice and easy in total darkness.

Display Off & Instant Start-Up

“Display Off” mode deactivates image transmission to the display, reducing the screen brightness to an absolute minimum and entering standby mode rather than powering down the scope entirely, saving battery. Pressing the power button when the device is in standby mode will activate instant start-up and the scope will be operational again in just 3 seconds.

Auto Shutdown

Further preservation of battery life can be achieved by using the Auto Power Off function. Once this mode is activated the scope will automatically power down when it detects it is being held in a non-operating position. Holding the riflescope up or down at an angle of 70°, or tilting to the left or right at 30° for 60 seconds will trigger the Auto Power Off functions and controls and buttons will be disabled.

Magnesium Alloy Bodyshell

The Thermion 2 XP50 Pro has been built to be robust and durable whilst retaining familiar riflescope aesthetics when mounted on any hunting weapon on standard 30mm rings.

High Calibre Recoil Rated

High calibre weapons are no issue, as this riflescope is high impact resistant, meaning it can be used with hunting rifles using high calibres, as well as smooth-bore and pneumatic weapons.

Operating Temperatures

Designed to work in a wide variety of temperatures, this riflescope will operate in -25 to +50 °C, with the frost-free AMOLED display providing a stunning image, even when objects are observed in motion.

IPX7 Waterproof

The IPX7 waterproof rating means the Thermion 2 XP50 Pro will work seamlessly in heavy rain, high humidity, and even after submerged in 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes.
